He will be limited on being coach though to Europe - Australia, UK and USA dont allow convicted criminals into their country without formal Visa approval and he would be unlikely to get it to any of those countries, at least whilst he is still on license (although released after 8 months, he will be on license for the full 30 months) and probably not at all - I dont think he can return to the UK, that is for sure, as he received a sentence greater than 12 months until such time as a future Home Secretary allows him to, and Suella sure as heck wont!Īnd with his profile, I would be surprised to see the Aussies or Americans give him a waiver on his Visa. I personally dont mind - it is Rune's call and if he is happy so be it, and I have never minded Boris or, as you say, giving folks a chance. He got a lot of support on X (fka Twitter) when it was announced, seems a lot of folks like Boris still. However the other side Im kind of thinking hes got away with it in the main.
On one hand I hate to see people tossed aside and condemned for mistakes in life, cancel culture is awful.
Not sure how I feel about Becker being involved in tennis again.
